GDA Award's new thinking new winners

E-scooters from 3S Mobility AS in Scandinavia are manufactured primarily from recycled materials, setting a new industry standard for sustainability. What appealed to the jury was that the frames, body components, and other structural elements are made from high-quality recycled plastics. In addition, all metal parts, wiring, and even the batteries are sourced from recycled materials and renewed to meet the highest safety and performance standards. This circular approach minimizes waste, reduces the carbon footprint, and promotes resource efficiency.

The GDA jury really liked this future-thinking solution from Finland, the Autonomous Robotic Forest Tractor. Using smart automation with sustainable forestry practices, this robotic tractor represents the next generation of efficiency and innovation in the industry. Designed for versatility, the robotic tractors can adapt to different forestry operations, from thinning and clearing to transporting logs and maintaining forest roads.
